After a Police Community Support Officer located a Gravesend robbery suspect, patrols arrested him quickly. On Thursday, January 12, 2023, at around 9.20 a.m., a man entered a shop on Valley Drive and allegedly stole cash from the till before fleeing. Officers were called, and a PCSO discovered a suspect in an alleyway near Parrock Avenue. Other patrols responded, and the man was arrested and detained. Officers also seized a large sum of money. Liam Lunt, of Windmill Street, Gravesend, was charged with robbery the next day. On Saturday 14 January, the 23-year-old appeared before Medway Magistrates’ Court and was remanded to a hearing at Woolwich Crown Court on 13 February.
