London Recovery Truck Topples, Nearly Crashes Into Flats
A recovery truck tipped over while trying to load an overweight Ford Transit van in North London on Tuesday afternoon. The toppled vehicle narrowly missed the outer wall of a nearby block of flats, sparking a dramatic emergency response.
Firefighters Rush to Rescue After Failed Lift
The London Fire Brigade quickly arrived on the scene. Crews secured the area and confirmed the vehicle was safe to avoid further hazards. Thankfully, there were no injuries reported—only bruised egos for the driver and council worker involved.
“The driver had to call emergency services after his lorry overturned with its precious cargo,” said one eyewitness.
Van Left Abandoned, Then Overloaded for Removal
One resident revealed the white Ford Transit van had been parked in the same spot for over two months. Council workers had finally arranged its removal, but the van’s overweight condition caused the recovery attempt to go spectacularly wrong.
