A 28-year-old woman killed by dogs in Surrey died from “multiple penetrating bites to the neck,” an inquest has heard

Natasha Johnston, 28, was walking eight dogs when a number of them turned on her at Gravelly Hill

Police confirmed last week that a criminal investigation had been closed and that no prosecutions would be brought

Natasha Johnston, a professional dog walker, was attacked on the 12th of January in Caterham, Surrey, at a dog walkers’ spot.

A post-mortem examination revealed that she died as a result of shock and haemorrhage, and that her left jugular vein had been perforated.

A second woman was also taken to the hospital for treatment of dog bites.

Ms Johnston was identified through dental records, according to the hearing at Surrey Coroner’s Court.

Police apprehended eight dogs at the scene and identified their owners.

Surrey Police also stated that no charges would be brought as a result of the attack.

The inquest has been postponed until June 29.
