Officers Respond to Disturbance at Churchill Square

Sussex Police responded to an incident at Churchill Square Shopping Centre in Brighton on the afternoon of December 27, following reports of two boys being threatened by another boy.

A police spokesperson stated: “Police attended a store in the Churchill Square Shopping Centre after a report of two boys being threatened by another boy at about 4.20pm on December 27. Officers arrived swiftly and safely escorted the two boys away from the area, while other officers completed a search of a 16-year-old boy.”

No items were found during the search of the teenager, but his details were recorded by the attending officers.

The police have urged anyone with information regarding the incident to come forward. Reports can be made online via the Sussex Police website, quoting serial 731 of 27/12.
