A 20-year-old man has been charged with grievous bodily harm with intent following an attack in Lambeth on Monday, 27 January 2025.
Christian Camilo Henao Cortes, of Alvey Street, Southwark, appeared at Croydon Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, 29 January, after the incident, which took place around 9:30pm on Randall Way, Lambeth. It is alleged that Henao Cortes, armed with a screwdriver, attacked another man, who is in his 50s.
The victim was taken to the hospital, where his injuries were assessed as non-life-threatening and non-life-changing.
Henao Cortes was arrested on the night of the incident and was subsequently charged with grievous bodily harm with intent the following day. He remains in custody while further investigations take place.
