Police and a national missing persons charity are urgently appealing for help to locate a missing teenager from St Austell, Cornwall.
Katie Clementson, 16, has not been seen since Monday, April 21, 2025, and authorities say they are increasingly concerned for her welfare. A poster circulated by the Missing Persons Team (MPT) and Missing Adults & Children in the UK describes her as being around 5ft 10in tall, of medium build, with blonde hair and brown eyes.
Katie’s clothing at the time she went missing is currently unknown, but there has been an unconfirmed sighting of her in Truro on Tuesday, April 22.
The case has prompted an immediate call for public assistance. Devon and Cornwall Police are urging anyone who may have seen Katie or has any information about her whereabouts to call 999 immediately, quoting log 692 of April 21.
The appeal poster emphasizes that “no piece of information is too small”, and that timely tips could be crucial in locating the teenager safely.
Katie’s disappearance has sent ripples through the local community, with online shares of the missing poster increasing across Cornwall and beyond. Residents and local businesses have also begun displaying the poster in windows and on noticeboards in the hope that someone may recognise her or provide vital information.
If you have any details that may assist the investigation, please contact Devon & Cornwall Police on 101, or call 999 in an emergency.
