Tragic Death at Howards Close
Just after 10.30pm on Monday, February 20, emergency services rushed to an address in Howards Close, HA5, following reports of a seriously injured man. Paramedics and police arrived quickly, but despite their best efforts, 43-year-old Rafal Zabiecki was pronounced dead at the scene.
Two Arrested Over Murder

Police Appeal for Witnesses
Detective Chief Inspector Claire Hine said: “My thoughts and those of my team are with Rafal’s loved ones as they come to terms with this terrible loss. We continue to support them fully.”
“We’ve made significant progress with two arrests but urge anyone who was in Howards Close on Monday evening and saw anything unusual to come forward. This appears to be an isolated incident with no wider risk to the public.”
