Murder Inquiry Launched After Fatal Stabbing in Hendon
A man has died following a stabbing incident in Hendon, sparking a murder investigation. Police were called shortly after 9pm on Saturday, 29 February, after a silver VW Polo crashed into a parked car on Parson Street, NW4.
Victim Found with Stab Wounds Inside Crashed Car
Emergency crews, including officers, London Ambulance Service, and the Fire Brigade, discovered a 24-year-old man inside the Polo suffering from stab injuries.
He was rushed to a north London hospital but sadly died later that night. His next of kin have been informed.
Victim Attacked Before Crash, Police Say
Detective Chief Inspector Andy Partridge, leading the homicide enquiry, revealed the victim was parked moments earlier in a car park on Stratford Road, off Bell Lane, NW4.
“We believe he was attacked in the car park,” said Partridge. “It’s likely that witnesses on the Belle Vue Estate saw what happened.”
The victim had just left his girlfriend and newborn baby at home in Edgware 15 minutes before the attack. He was on his way to work for a night shift.
