£40k Bromley Burglary: Police Hunt Two Suspects After Jewellery Heist
Bromley police are urgently appealing for help after a brazen £40,000 burglary in Shortlands. Thieves struck while the flat’s owners were out during the day on Thursday, 21 December.
Valuables Stolen as Victims Return
The owners came back around 5:30pm to find their flat ransacked. The crooks made off with a haul of luxury watches, jewellery, and £800 in cash.
Police Want to Talk to Two Suspects Spotted Leaving the Scene
Detectives want to speak to two men seen leaving through the main door just as the victims arrived home. They could hold key info to cracking the case.
Suspect One:
- White male, slim build
- About 5ft 10in tall
- Wearing a dark beanie hat and a short dark bomber jacket
- White face mask
Suspect Two:
- White male, stocky build
- About 5ft 6in tall with dark hair and unkempt beard
- Wearing a hat, short jacket and a white cloth face mask
- Wearing a gold earring and carrying a bag
What Was Stolen?
- Vintage and gold watches
- Yellow gold stirrup cufflinks in chain design
- White gold and diamond necklace with matching earrings
- Diamond and pearl earrings
- Vintage solid yellow gold Dunhill Rolagas lighter
- Samsonite dark grey/black suitcase
Detective Pleads for Witnesses
Detective Constable Aaron Cody said: “These crimes devastate victims. We’re determined to bring the culprits to justice and keep Bromley safe.
