Woman Stabbed to Death in London Home Horror
Tragedy struck on Thursday night when police were called to a home in Rectory Road, N16, following reports of an unresponsive woman. Emergency crews arrived at 10:18pm to find a 28-year-old woman suffering stab wounds. Despite desperate efforts, she was pronounced dead at the scene.
Man Arrested as Murder Investigation Underway
Officers from the Met’s Specialist Crime Command have launched a full investigation. A 37-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in custody. A crime scene remains in place while detectives piece together what happened.
Police Appeal for Witnesses and Support for Abuse Survivors
“This is an incredibly sad incident and my thoughts are with the victim’s family and friends at this unimaginably difficult time,” said Detective Chief Inspector Mark Rogers.
“We are working hard to establish what happened. Anyone who saw anything unusual should come forward as soon as possible.”
A/Borough Commander Dan Rutland added: “This is an appalling crime. My deepest sympathies go out to the family. We urge survivors of domestic abuse to report it so we can help and bring perpetrators to justice.”
