Teen Girl Escapes Sexual Assault on Binney Road – Suspect Arrested
Attack on Binney Road
Just after 8pm on Thursday 16 March 2023, a teenage girl was walking along Binney Road, near Allhallows Marshes, when a man allegedly sexually assaulted her.
Thankfully, the girl fought back and the attacker fled the scene.
Police Arrest 17-Year-Old Suspect
Four days later, on Monday 20 March, officers arrested a 17-year-old boy from Rochester on suspicion of sexual assault. He remains in police custody as the investigation continues.
Police Seek Witnesses and Dashcam Footage
Kent Police are urging anyone who was in the area, saw anything suspicious, or has dashcam, CCTV or doorbell camera footage that could help, to come forward.
