Hay Bale Arson Shocker: Police Snuff Out Double Blaze at Moulden Hill
Police on routine patrol at Moulden Hill Country Park stumbled upon not one, but two suspicious fires tonight. First, a small grass blaze that looked like it was started on purpose.
The Dorset and Wiltshire Fire Service (DWFS) quickly doused that fire. But before they could pack up, a member of the public tipped officers off about a much bigger inferno – a cluster of hay bales ablaze in a field full of cows.
Quick-Thinking Cops Stop Fire Spread
The landowner was informed and jumped in to help firefighters tackle the nasty blaze. Thanks to the quick response, both fires were stopped before reaching nearby trees, avoiding what could have been a catastrophic wildfire.
Deliberate Damage Sparks Investigation
