Fifteen knife disposal bins scattered across Southend, Essex, and Thurrock are set for a much-needed makeover. These bins play a crucial role, collecting thousands of blades each year and helping to slash knife crime.

  • Give the public a legal, worry-free way to ditch unwanted knives and weapons.
  • Drive home the message that carrying illegal knives can have serious consequences.
  • Help reduce violent crime levels across Essex and its towns.
