Kent Fire and Rescue Service rushed to a fire at a Sure Start children’s centre on Princess Margaret Avenue, Ramsgate. Crews faced heavy smoke and flames billowing from the rear of the building on arrival.
Firefighters Battle Flames with Breathing Gear
Wearing breathing apparatus, firefighters used main hose jets to wrestle the blaze under control. The centre will remain closed today as a result.
