Stab Horror in Folkestone: Multiple Arrests After Brutal Attack
Chaos erupted in Folkestone early on Saturday, 30 March 2019, after a man in his 20s was rushed to a London hospital with serious stab wounds. Police and paramedics from the South East Coast Ambulance Service responded swiftly to Angel Lane at 6.10am to treat the victim.
Five Arrested Amid Intense Investigation
Kent Police launched a blitz, making multiple arrests within 24 hours. A 28-year-old local man was nabbed in Tonbridge on suspicion of assisting offenders. The very next day, officers swooped in Tram Road, Folkestone, arresting a 20-year-old Folkestone man and a 16-year-old boy from Dover for attempted murder.
That wasn’t all. Two more men from Folkestone, aged 24 and 33, were also detained at Road of Remembrance and Marine Terrace on suspicion of attempted murder. While these two remain in police custody, the others have been released but are still under investigation.
Police Appeal for Witnesses
Detective Inspector Jon Faulkner urged the public to come forward. “While my officers have made a number of arrests, we are keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has any information that will help the investigation.”
