Fiery chaos erupted on Goldsmith Avenue as a massive fire tore through a car workshop, engulfing the building and spreading to neighbouring properties. Fire crews from Cosham, Southsea, Fareham, Portchester, and Eastleigh rushed to the scene battling the inferno.
Gas Bottles Ignite Safety Fears
Alarm bells rang after gas bottles used for welding were caught in the blaze, raising fears of dangerous explosions. Ten fire pumps are currently fighting the flames, with extra resources called in to prevent the fire from spreading further.
