Drug crackdown! Nine arrested in massive Hampshire police raids
Hampshire Constabulary smashed drug operations in a major dawn swoop today (Tuesday, May 24). Nine warrants were executed as part of Operation Fortress, aiming to shield communities from drugs, drug-fuelled violence, and criminal exploitation.
Raids hit Southampton and London
Police served six warrants in Southampton and three in London. The operation saw Hampshire officers join forces with the South East Regional Organised Crime Unit (SEROCU), the National Crime Agency (NCA), and the Metropolitan Police Service.
Nine arrests made, investigations continue
The raids have already netted nine arrests, including a 26-year-old man from Southampton. Authorities are pushing hard to dismantle networks dealing in drugs and violence that threaten local communities.
Operation Fortress continues to target criminals exploiting the vulnerable and fueling crime waves across the region.
