Tragic Death After Loughton Pedestrian Crash

A man in his 20s has died after a serious collision in Loughton over the weekend. Police were called to Rangers Road just after 11.05am on Sunday, 16 May, following reports of a crash involving a pedestrian and a silver BMW.

Young Man Flown to Hospital

The pedestrian suffered life-threatening injuries and was airlifted to hospital. Despite emergency efforts, he sadly passed away three days later.

Police have thanked members of the public who stopped to give first aid at the scene.

No Arrests Yet – Police Urge Witnesses to Come Forward

No arrests have been made. Essex Police are continuing their investigation and need anyone who saw the collision or has CCTV or dashcam footage to get in touch.
