Blaze Breaks Out in Bromley Garage, Three Cars Ablaze

A fierce fire erupted early this morning in a garage beneath a seven-storey block of flats on Ringers Road, Bromley. Flames quickly engulfed three vehicles, sending huge plumes of smoke billowing over the town centre.

Emergency Crews Rush to Scene

The London Fire Brigade sprang into action after receiving five frantic emergency calls just after 8:26 a.m. Firefighters from Bromley, Lee Green, and Woodside stations combated the blaze, which started in the ground-floor car park. Thick smoke soon filled the garage and could be seen from Bromley’s busy high street.

Residents Urged to Stay Indoors as Fire Is Tackled

Authorities advised local residents to keep windows and doors shut to avoid the choking smoke. Social media was flooded with images of the dense smoke cloud engulfing the town centre.

One man at the scene needed medical assistance and was treated by paramedics before being taken to hospital. His condition remains unknown.

Fire Under Control, Roads Reopened – Cause Still Unknown

Firefighters had the blaze under control by 10:18 a.m. Temporary road closures on Ringers Road and Ravensbourne Road have now been lifted. Officials say the cause of the fire is under investigation.
