Babysitter Arrested After Tragic Baby Death in North London

A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a baby was found dead in a Camden home.

Met Police Called to Disturbing Scene

Officers from the Metropolitan Police rushed to Taviton Street at around 2pm on Monday, July 8, following reports of a welfare concern. When they arrived, a baby was sadly discovered dead at the property.

Investigation Underway, Details Scarce

The circumstances surrounding the heartbreaking incident remain unclear. A Met Police spokesperson confirmed emergency services, including the London Ambulance Service, attended the scene.

“Officers and London Ambulance Service attended the scene. A baby was sadly found dead. Enquiries continue into the circumstances. A man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of murder. He has been taken into custody,” the spokesperson said.
