Motorcyclist Dies in Horror Crash on B656 London Road
A serious collision between a car and a motorcycle on the B656 London Road, between Langley and Hitchin, ended in tragedy just before 2pm. The motorcyclist, a man in his 30s, died instantly at the scene.
Suspect Arrested After Fatal Collision
Police have arrested a man, also in his 30s, in connection with the crash. He remains in custody as officers investigate the incident. The motorcyclist’s family has been informed and is receiving support from police.
Police Appeal for Witnesses and Dashcam Footage
“Our thoughts are very much with the motorcyclist’s family at this distressing time, and we are working to establish the exact circumstances that led to this collision,” said Detective Sergeant David Burstow of the Serious Collisions Investigation Unit (SCIU). “We are appealing to anyone who witnessed the collision, or the moments prior to it, to come forward and speak to us.”
