Fatal Collision Between Car and Bike
A man in his 30s on a motorcycle died at the scene after crashing with a car on the B656 London Road, between Langley and Hitchin, just before 2pm.
Suspect Arrested as Police Investigate
Officers have arrested a man, also in his 30s, in connection with the collision. He is currently in police custody. The motorcyclist’s family has been informed and is receiving support from the authorities.
Police Appeal for Witnesses and Dash Cam Footage
Detective Sergeant David Burstow from the Serious Collisions Investigation Unit said:
“Our thoughts are very much with the motorcyclist’s family at this distressing time. We are working hard to establish what caused this tragic collision. We urge anyone who saw the crash or the moments leading up to it to come forward. If you have dash cam footage from the area around the time of the accident, please check it for any relevant images.”
