Teenager Seriously Injured After Being Hit by Car on Crayford Way

A teenage boy has been rushed to hospital with serious injuries after a collision with a car on Crayford Way this afternoon.

Emergency Services Rush to Scene

Police, paramedics, and the London Air Ambulance were called around 4:45pm following reports of the crash. The Metropolitan Police confirmed officers responded promptly after the 1 Ambulance Service alerted them. The injured teen was treated on-site before being airlifted to King’s College Hospital in central London.

Crayford Way is closed both ways while investigators work. Commuters have been urged to find alternative routes as the closure is expected to last several hours. Witnesses reported the dramatic arrival of the London Air Ambulance, drawing crowds and attention from local residents.

Anyone who saw the accident or captured dashcam footage is asked to contact police on 101, quoting the incident reference for Friday 6 June. The London Ambulance Service declined to comment at this time.
