Man rushed to hospital after early morning attack

A man was rushed to hospital following a stabbing on Tower Bridge Road in Bermondsey in the early hours of Sunday.

Police sealed off a large section of the road outside the Tower Tandoori restaurant after the shocking incident. Clothing was left scattered across the pavement as paramedics fought to save the victim’s life at the scene.

37-year-old found with stab wounds

A Met Police spokesman confirmed police were called at 2.15am on 14 July following reports of a stabbing. Officers arrived alongside the London Ambulance Service to find a 37-year-old man with serious stab injuries.

“He was treated by paramedics before being taken to hospital,” said the spokesman. “We are currently waiting on an update on his condition.”

No arrests yet, investigation underway

So far, no arrests have been made. A crime scene remains in place while police carry out enquiries into the stabbing.
