Two men arrested after East London crash and brawl

Crash and chaos on St Paul’s Way

Police swooped on East London’s St Paul’s Way at 9:01pm on Tuesday, 25 March, after reports of a row and a road traffic collision. Witnesses told officers of a disturbance involving a vehicle and individuals before emergency services raced to the scene.

Victim rushed to hospital

Paramedics from the London Ambulance Service treated a man at the scene and took him to hospital. Thankfully, his injuries are non-life threatening. The London emergency crews stayed late into the evening while police cordoned off part of the road to investigate.

Two men in custody for dangerous driving

Following initial investigations, two men were arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving. They remain in police custody as enquiries continue.

“At 21:01hrs on Tuesday, 25 March, police were called to St Paul’s Way, E14, following reports of an altercation and a road traffic collision. Officers attended along with London Ambulance Service. One man was taken to hospital with injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening. Two men were arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving. Enquiries into the circumstances are ongoing.”

Police appeal for witnesses

Residents reported seeing emergency vehicles and a police cordon late into the night. Officers have urged anyone who saw the incident or has dashcam footage to get in touch.
