Met Police Smash Firearms Crime Despite Pandemic
Coronavirus Slashes Violent Crime But Not Police Resolve
DI Adam Seton revealed that the coronavirus crisis has sharply cut violent crime. But he insisted the Met’s determined officers are still relentless in protecting Londoners from danger.
“We will continue to pursue anyone involved in firearms offences. No global pandemic will stop Met officers from seizing weapons, guns and protecting Londoners,” said DI Seton.
Firearms Seized in Norbury Raid
Just before 3.50pm on Tuesday, 26 January, Specialist Crime Command officers stormed a property on Norbury Avenue, CR7. Inside, they uncovered two firearms and 38 bullets.
The Met remains unwavering in its fight against gun crime, pandemic or not.
