Late-Night Violence Shocks Peacehaven Street
Just before 1am this morning, Sussex police rushed to a disturbance on Southview Road, central Peacehaven, after being alerted to serious trouble at a residential property.
Heavy Police and Emergency Response
A fleet of police units swarmed the scene, joined by the South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Kent, Surrey & Sussex Air Ambulance. The chopper touched down on a nearby playing field, underscoring the severity of the incident.
Man Seriously Injured, Another Arrested
Officers found a man with serious injuries and rushed him to hospital. Meanwhile, another man was arrested on suspicion of conspiring to cause grievous bodily harm with intent. He remains in custody as the investigation unfolds.
