Gravesend Gardener Swindles Cash and Cards During Job
On June 17, 2022, two men turned up at a Valley Drive home in Gravesend offering gardening services for a fixed fee. While working, they made off with a large sum of cash and a bank card.
Bank Card Used in Local Shop
The stolen bank card was later used at a nearby shop, raising alarm bells. Police launched an investigation and zeroed in on a suspect.
Daniel Johnson Arrested and Charged
Daniel Johnson, 39, from Oak Road, Gravesend, was arrested and charged with burglary and fraud. He appeared at Medway Magistrates’ Court on June 22 and was granted bail ahead of his Woolwich Crown Court hearing on July 20.
