Man Dies After Brutal Head Shot in Queens Park
A 46-year-old man has tragically died after being shot in the head in Queens Park last month. Eraj Seifi of Maida Vale was found wounded on Bravington Road on the afternoon of Wednesday, 29 January.
Medics rushed him to a central London hospital where he remained in critical condition for over a week. Sadly, Eraj passed away on Friday, 7 February. A post-mortem confirmed the cause of death as a gunshot wound to the head.
Two Men Charged Over Shooting
The police have charged two men in connection with the shooting. Errol James, 51, from Bruckner Street, W9, was first arrested on 31 January on suspicion of attempted murder. He was re-arrested on 5 February and charged with attempted murder and possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life.
James appeared in Westminster Magistrates’ Court on 6 February and was remanded in custody. He is due to appear at the Old Bailey on 3 March.
Romello Briggs-Leon, 25, of Second Avenue, W10, was arrested on 3 February and charged with attempted murder the following day. He too appeared at Westminster Magistrates’ Court and was remanded to the Old Bailey on the same date.
Justice Set for Queens Park Shooting Victim
Both suspects face serious charges as the investigation continues. The Old Bailey is set to hear the case in March, aiming to deliver justice for Eraj Seifi and send a message to those behind gun violence in London.
