Serial Attacker Everton Fyffe Found Guilty of Multiple Violent Crimes Against Women
Everton Fyffe, 54, from Southcliff Road, has been slammed by a Southampton Crown Court jury for a string of brutal attacks on women in 2020.
Brutal Attacks Across Southampton
On July 4, 2020, Fyffe viciously assaulted a 40-year-old woman on Parsonage Road. Reports say he stamped on her, punched her repeatedly, and threatened her with a knife.
Less than three months later, on September 23, Fyffe targeted a 37-year-old woman on Cranbury Terrace. He shoved her to the ground, stamped on her head, then dragged her into his car where the assault continued.
The horror didn’t end there. On December 6, Fyffe attacked a 43-year-old woman on a footbridge over Mount Pleasant Road, hitting her with a fold-up push bike.
Conviction Details
Fyffe was found guilty of:
- Three counts of Actual Bodily Harm (ABH)
- Possession of an offensive weapon in a public place
- Threatening someone with an offensive weapon
- False imprisonment
Police Praise Brave Victims
PC Sue Badham praised the courage of the victims, saying, “Sex workers are particularly vulnerable to violence. We’ve worked hard to gain their trust. Often attacks come from someone they know, and they’re afraid they won’t be believed.”
“We will believe you and take action against those putting women’s lives in danger.”
“Fyffe targeted these women thinking they wouldn’t report him or that he’d escape justice. Their bravery has been key to bringing this dangerous man to court.”
“We prioritise tackling violence against women and want other vulnerable victims to come forward.”
Next Steps
Fyffe remains in custody. He is set to be sentenced on May 12 at Southampton Crown Court.
