Shocking Night Attack in Walmer – Elderly Man Beaten After Confronting Break-In

On the evening of 27 March 2021, horror struck Court Road in Walmer when two men walking their dog were viciously attacked.

Victims Confront Suspected Club Break-In

The incident unfolded between 8.30pm and 9pm after the pair challenged a group allegedly trying to break into a local cricket club. Tempers flared fast.

Two of the suspects reportedly launched a brutal attack, kicking and punching the victims. One man, in his 60s, was pushed to the ground before being further assaulted, leaving him seriously injured.

Police Release CCTV in Hunt for Attackers

PC Chris Qualey, leading the investigation, urged the public to come forward. “This was a shocking assault leaving one victim with significant injuries. We’ve got CCTV images of two young men involved. Though the footage is blurry, we hope someone will recognise them.”
