The collision happened at around 4:25pm on Monday, April 1. A red Honda motorcycle, a silver Mazda, a black Audi, and a red Mazda were all involved. Emergency teams rushed to the scene following reports of the crash.

Tragically, the 29-year-old female rider from Battle was pronounced dead at the scene. Her family has been informed and is receiving support during this heartbreaking time. No other injuries were reported.

A 19-year-old man from Eastbourne has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving. He has been released on conditional bail as investigations continue.
