Police Hunt Bus Pervert Who Groped Woman on Route 38
Just before 10pm on 30 July, a predator struck on a London bus. The suspect boarded a Route 38 bus near Tottenham Court Road minutes before his victim, a 26-year-old woman. He had already been harassing other female passengers.
As the woman walked past him, the tall, braids-wearing man reached out and sexually touched her. Thanks to the quick-thinking bus driver who called the cops, the suspect fled the scene.
Suspect Description & Police Appeal
- Tall Black male, around 35 years old
- Short braids in his hair
- Last seen on Route 38 near Tottenham Court Road
Detective Chief Inspector Michael Dougall slammed the attacker, saying: “No one should have to put up with unwanted attention or predatory, sexual or violent behaviour.”
He added: “We’ve released an image in the hope someone will spot him and help us pin him down. Anyone with info, please get in touch.”
