Man Charged Over Brutal Murder in Haringey
Briken Quni, 42, with no fixed address, was charged on Friday, 24 September. He appeared at Willesden Magistrates’ Court the next day and was remanded to Old Bailey for a hearing on Tuesday, 28 September.
Victim Found Dead at Home
Police were called just after 10pm on Tuesday, 21 September, following reports of a man’s body at a house on West Green Road, N15.
Emergency crews arrived, but the 36-year-old victim was pronounced dead at the scene. He had suffered multiple injuries.
Brutal Attack Revealed by Post-Mortem
The victim was identified as Ergys Koci from Haringey. His family have been informed and are receiving support from specially trained officers.
A post-mortem at Haringey Mortuary on 24 September confirmed the cause of death as blunt force trauma to the head. He had also been stabbed several times.
