Tyler Hurley Murder: Cops Return to Bus Stop to Hunt Witnesses

Detectives probing the stabbing death of 16-year-old Tyler Hurley are heading back to the scene in Chadwell Heath, one week after the tragic incident. Tyler was fatally wounded on a Route 173 bus near High Road and Woodlands Avenue on March 14.

Teen Stabbed on Bus – Man Charged

Police were called just before 4pm after reports of a stabbing on board the bus. Tyler was rushed to hospital but later died from his injuries. A man has since been charged with his murder and remanded in custody.

Detective Urges Witnesses to Come Forward

My officers will be back at the scene one week on from Tyler’s murder as we continue to gather information about the events that led to this tragic incident,” said Detective Chief Inspector Mark Rogers.
