Three men were arrested after violence erupted outside Mojo nightclub in Nottingham just after midnight on New Year’s Day.
Early Morning Mayhem Outside Mojo Nightclub
The brawl unfolded at 4.16am on Thurland Street, leaving three men injured. A 24-year-old suffered chest and back wounds, while two 18-year-olds were hurt—one with a leg injury, the other with chest injuries. Thankfully, none of the wounds are believed to be life-threatening.
Cops Hunt for Witnesses and Dash-Cam Footage
Detectives have been combing through hours of CCTV footage and grilling local taxi drivers who worked that night. They are calling on any other taxi drivers or witnesses who spotted victims with injuries or bloodstained clothes during the early hours to come forward.
Detective Inspector Chris Berryman said: “We want to know exactly what happened before, during, and after this incident. Thanks to those who have already helped.”
“With so many people out for New Year’s celebrations, there are likely witnesses who haven’t spoken to police yet. This was a very serious incident that could have caused even worse injuries.”
Three Men Arrested on Suspicion of Affray
