Cash, Watches, Bikes: £150K and More Taken

The raids uncovered £150,000 in cash, 27 luxury watches, expensive jewellery sets, and several off-road and mountain bikes. The 13 arrests were made on suspicion of conspiracy to cheat the public revenue — covering complex crimes like money laundering and tax evasion.

Those detained include men aged 31 to 60 from Rochester, London, Sevenoaks, Sittingbourne, Gravesend, and Hertfordshire.

Follow-Up to £13.5M Drug Asset Freeze

This latest operation builds on earlier action from March 23, 2022, when 28 search warrants targeting drug supply yielded £13.5 million in frozen assets. Bank accounts were frozen, and sales of property, cars, and homes were blocked.

Seventeen people were initially arrested during the drug probe. Ten have since been charged with offences including cocaine conspiracy, concealing criminal property, and fraud by false representation. Seven remain on bail, with court cases ongoing.

Police statement: “These arrests mark a significant step in tackling organised fraud and related criminality across the region.”
