Four Charged Over Major Class A Drug Bust Across UK
Detectives from the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate have swooped on a nationwide drugs ring, charging four suspects following a series of search warrants executed on Wednesday 18 October 2023.
Widespread Raids Lead to Multiple Arrests
The operations spanned multiple locations, including Margate, Orpington, Sunderland, and more. The offences reportedly took place between March 2020 and December 2021.
In total, nine people were arrested and interviewed. A 40-year-old woman was released on police bail, while three men aged 33, 30, and 35 remain under investigation.
Meet the Four Charged
On Wednesday, four men and women were charged with conspiracy to import and supply class A drugs. They are:
- Danny Smith, 31, of Berrylands, Orpington
- Addison Curtis, 36, of Westbrook Avenue, Margate
- Christian Lee, 49, of Ravenna Road, Sunderland
- Nikki Fewsdale, 41, of Meadow Court, Norton, Stockton-on-Tees
All four have been remanded in custody and are set to appear in court on Thursday 19 October 2023.
