Both men have since been released on strict conditional bail, including an order barring them from entering Wiltshire while inquiries continue.

Wiltshire Police Launch Appeal for Public Help

Detective Inspector Penny Andrews said: “We continue to appeal for anyone who knows anything about the stolen items or saw anything suspicious to come forward. No matter how small the information, it could be vital to this investigation.”

She also urged antique dealers and auction houses across the UK to stay vigilant for any attempts to sell the stolen artefacts.
