Dog Stabbed Multiple Times in Shocking Hambleton Attack

Police are hunting for witnesses after two dogs were viciously attacked at stables in Hambleton. The brutal assault, believed to be targeted, left one dog fighting for his life.

Two Rottweilers Left Seriously Injured

The horror unfolded at stables on Shard Road between 8pm on September 16th and 10am the next day. Rocky, a Rottweiler, suffered a horrific seven-inch wound on his side and a four-inch cut along his throat. He also had stab wounds on his chest and thigh, a broken jaw, and lost some teeth. Rocky has undergone two surgeries and may need a third.

The second dog, Tia, also a Rottweiler, was so badly beaten she can’t walk properly. Her front leg is crippled, and her hips keep giving way.

No Theft—Just Pure Viciousness

Nothing was stolen during the attack. The culprits broke in by removing a padlock from the stables. Police are yet to make any arrests but are continuing their investigation.

Police Appeal for Information

“This is a brutal and sickening attack on two defenceless dogs which will rightly leave the public appalled. We need to identify those responsible and we are asking anyone who witnessed people acting suspiciously in the area around the dates and times stated to come forward. We also want to hear from anybody with CCTV or dashcam footage covering the area.” – PC Stacey Billington, Lancashire Police
