Teen Stabbed to Death in Gillingham Alley
A brutal stabbing shocked Gillingham on the night of Friday 14 April 2023. At 9.05pm, Kent Police were called to an alley off Suffolk Road where an 18-year-old man was found with stab wounds.
Paramedics from South East Coast Ambulance Service arrived quickly, but the young victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Two Men Arrested on Murder Charges
Just after midnight on Saturday 15 April, police arrested two men in Gillingham on suspicion of murder. One of them, Chris Enaruba, 19, from Beaconsfield Road in Greater London, was officially charged with murder on Monday 17 April.
Enaruba is set to appear at Medway Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday 18 April.
The second 19-year-old suspect, also from Greater London, was released on bail until 10 July as police continue their investigation.
Police Seek Eyewitnesses and CCTV Footage
Kent Police are urging any witnesses who haven’t yet come forward to call them on 01474 366149, quoting reference 46/68778/23.
