Rapper DigDat Faces Old Bailey Trial Over Attempted Murder
DigDat, real name Nathan Tokosi, is set to stand trial this week at the Old Bailey. The 25-year-old drill rapper from Deptford is charged with attempted murder and firearm offences.
The Shooting That Shocked Notting Hill
The charges come from a shooting incident on November 20, 2023, around 2:05am on Clydesdale Road, Notting Hill. Police were called after reports of gunfire. Specialist firearms officers found a man in his twenties with serious gunshot wounds.
The victim was rushed to a west London hospital and underwent emergency surgery. Thankfully, his injuries were later confirmed as non-life-threatening.
Tokosi was arrested and charged in February 2024 in connection with the attack.

Besides attempted murder, DigDat faces additional charges:
- Possessing a firearm with intent to endanger life or assist another
- Having three 9mm Parabellum bullets in possession
