Three Arrested After Nail-Biting Stabbing and Car Crash in Ninfield
Three men have been arrested following a shocking stabbing and three-car collision in Ninfield on Monday night.
Chaos in The Green: Stabbing and Smash-Up
At around 8.05pm on 2 March, police rushed to The Green, near Church Lane and the B2204, after receiving reports of a stabbing linked to a multi-car crash.
A 24-year-old Polegate man was treated at the scene for a minor leg wound. Meanwhile, a 22-year-old Eastbourne man suffered head, arm, and abdomen injuries; he was taken to Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton but has since been discharged.
Cops Hold Three on Suspicion of GBH
- The 22-year-old Eastbourne man and 24-year-old Polegate man remain in custody on suspicion of grievous bodily harm (GBH).
- A 47-year-old Eastbourne man, also arrested for GBH, was bailed until 9 March pending further inquiries.
Police Hunt Dash Cam Footage and Witnesses
Police believe this was an isolated incident but have boosted community patrols to keep locals reassured.
