New Scheme Targets Boys Aged 14-16

Tunbridge Wells police are leading a groundbreaking four-week pilot programme aimed at educating schoolboys on consent and respectful behaviour towards girls and women.

Called Sport Talk, the scheme involves officers joining PE lessons to engage directly with male pupils, helping them understand what healthy relationships look like and how to stand up to unwanted or inappropriate behaviour.

Trial at Tunbridge Wells Grammar School for Boys

The initiative is currently being trialled at Tunbridge Wells Grammar School for Boys, targeting 14 to 16-year-olds. If successful, police hope to roll it out across other schools in the area.
