Lorry Driver Charged Over Tragic Deaths of 39 People Found in Essex
The Crown Prosecution Service has given the green light for Essex Police to charge a man linked to the horrifying deaths of 39 people found crammed inside a lorry in Grays on Wednesday.
Driver Arrested After Bodies Discovered at Waterglade Retail Park
Mo Robinson, from Northern Ireland, was arrested shortly after the grim discovery. He is set to appear at chelmsford/" title="Chelmsford" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 28 October. Robinson faces 39 counts of manslaughter, along with charges of conspiracy to traffic people, conspiracy to assist unlawful immigration, and money laundering.
Three Others Held Over People Trafficking Probe
Police have also arrested three others in connection with the case. A 38-year-old man and woman from Warrington, plus a 48-year-old man from Northern Ireland, remain in custody on suspicion of conspiracy to traffic people and manslaughter.
