Fiesta Tracked Across London
Police have released images of the Ford Fiesta (registration FL10 CWZ) and called on the public to help track its movements. The vehicle journeyed from Birmingham late Monday night, arriving just after midnight in London, then lingered near Tottenham Court Road until nearly 6am. It then circled Westminster and Whitehall before the crash at 7:37am.
Anyone who saw the car or its driver in those locations is urged to call 0800 789 321. Witnesses with photos or videos of the incident should upload them at ukpoliceimageappeal.co.uk.
No Further Threats, but Vigilance Rises
Two victims, a man and woman, were treated for non-life-threatening injuries and discharged from hospital. A third man received treatment at the scene. No weapons have been found in the vehicle, which has been removed for further forensics.
All police cordons around Westminster have been lifted. So far, no other arrests have been made. Meanwhile, Project Servator officers – specialists in spotting suspicious behaviour – have been deployed in Westminster. They will operate in plain clothes and uniforms, ready to confront anyone acting suspiciously.
The investigation continues as police work to uncover the motive behind this shocking incident in an iconic London spot.
