Man Wanted for PC Sharon Beshenivsky’s Murder Faces Extradition Hearing in Pakistan
Piran Ditta Khan, 72, appeared in an Islamabad court today over his extradition to the UK. Khan was arrested in Pakistan back in January and remains in custody. The court has remanded him until the next hearing scheduled for Friday, 13 November.

Police Push for Swift Justice
Detective Superintendent Mark Swift said:
“We expect many more court appearances as this process steadily progresses. We are working closely with the National Crime Agency, CPS, and Pakistani authorities to ensure the extradition is completed as quickly as possible.”
The extradition hearing is a key step in bringing Khan back to the UK to face charges in connection with the murder. Police remain committed to securing justice for PC Beshenivsky’s death.
