Three Suspected Drug Dealers Nabbed in Major Kent Police Bust
Kent Police have made a big dent in local drug crime after arresting three suspects and seizing drugs and paraphernalia in a series of raids.
Suspicious Parcel Sparks Drug Probe
Officers swooped on Nixon Avenue early Monday, 9 December 2024, after intercepting a parcel believed to contain cannabis. The parcel was addressed to a local resident, setting off alarm bells for police.
Cannabis Plants and Resin Seized During Searches
During a search of the resident’s home, officers uncovered several young cannabis plants. A 61-year-old woman and a 41-year-old man were arrested on suspicion of unlawful importation and cultivation of Class B drugs.
Police also searched a nearby vehicle, where they found three blocks of suspected cannabis resin. A 31-year-old woman linked to the car was arrested on suspicion of drug supply involvement.
Suspects Released on Bail as Police Hunt for More Leads
All three suspects have been released on bail while investigations continue. Kent Police urge anyone with information about drug activity to come forward and help crack down on crime.
