Three kids were rushed to hospital after a German Shepherd-type dog went on the rampage on West Grange Road, Belle Isle, Leeds. The shocking attack happened at around 8am last Friday, prompting a swift response from West Yorkshire Police.
Victims Suffer Injuries But Are Out Of Danger
The children – two girls aged 11 and 15, and a 12-year-old boy – sustained wounds but none are in life-threatening condition, police confirmed. The 11-year-old girl was bitten on her forearm. The boy suffered puncture wounds to his leg and grazes after falling. The 15-year-old girl was also hurt, sustaining a tooth injury after the dog pulled her over.
Woman Arrested As Police Seize Aggressive Dog
Officers have arrested a woman on suspicion of dangerous dog offences linked to the attack. The aggressive dog, reportedly acting hostile towards locals before the incident, was later seized from a nearby address.
