Three Face Murder Charges Over Forest Rise Shooting
Brutal Killing Shakes East London
Police have arrested and charged three men in connection with the fatal shooting of 25-year-old Kacey Boothe in Forest Rise, E17. The victim was found with gunshot wounds to the neck and chest after reports of gunfire on the night of Saturday, 13 August.
Suspects Brought to Justice
- Ka-Amni Brightly-Donaldson, 22, of High Street, EN3, was arrested on 12 October. He faces charges of conspiracy to murder, possession of a firearm, and possession of ammunition. He appeared at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court on 13 October and was remanded to Old Bailey on 10 November.
- Jeffrey Gyimah, 20, from Queensbridge Road, E8, was arrested on 13 October and charged the next day with the murder of Kacey Boothe and unlawful possession of a firearm and ammunition. He will appear at the Old Bailey on 18 October.
- Kammar Henry-Richards, 24, of Cambrian Road, E10, was arrested on 16 October and charged with murder on 17 October. He is set to appear at Willesden Magistrates’ Court on 18 October.
Ongoing Investigation
Police were called shortly before 9.30pm on 13 August after residents reported hearing gunshots. Officers discovered Kacey Boothe had already been taken to hospital in a private vehicle but, despite medics’ efforts, he was pronounced dead. The Met’s Specialist Crime North are leading the probe.
“A post-mortem confirmed the cause of death as gunshot wounds to the neck and chest,” police confirmed.
